Diana La Scalia, M.S., CCC-SLP, P.C

Diana La Scalia, M.S., CCC-SLP, P.C. is a PROMPT Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for helping children and families communicate with one another.  She holds an undergraduate degree in Elementary and Special Education and a Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.  She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds a New York State license as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD). 

Diana has been in the field of education for over 20 years and specializes in helping children with motor speech disorders, language delays, autism spectrum disorder, executive functioning/attention difficulties, pragmatic language delays, genetic syndromes and more. 

Diana is PROMPT Certified and specializes in treating children with motor speech disorders and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Diana believes that every child can reach their full potential with the proper supports in place.

Sophie Michaelides

Sophie Michaelides, M.A., CCC-SLP, TSSLD, is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in supporting children across the lifespan with communication, speech, and language needs. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association where she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders and her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Long Island University – Post Campus.

Sophie has extensive experience working in a variety of settings, including private practice, schools, and sensory clinics. She provides individualized, evidence-based therapy for children with speech sound disorders, language delays, autism spectrum disorder, and other developmental differences. Her clinical background includes supporting early intervention, preschool, and school-aged children, with a strong focus on parent coaching and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

She is trained in specialized approaches such as PROMPT therapy and she has experience utilizing AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) tools such as TouchChat and TD Snap to give children alternative ways to communicate. Sophie is passionate about creating a supportive, engaging, and playful therapy environment where children feel motivated and confident to reach their fullest potential. She values working closely with families to ensure progress continues beyond the therapy room and into everyday life.

Gabriella Sgobbo

Gabriella Sgobbo, M.A., CF-SLP, TSSLD is a Speech-Language Pathologist completing her clinical fellowship with a strong commitment to supporting children and families through accessible, individualized communication services. She holds a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Iona University, where she also completed an advanced certification focused on working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing children, families, bilingual learners, and multimodal communication approaches. Gabriella also holds a New York State certification as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD).

Gabriella has experience working in school-based settings with preschool through high school students supporting a wide range of communication needs. Her clinical background includes helping children develop language skills across modalities, supporting early communicators, and working with students who benefit from visual supports and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

Gabriella is passionate about creating supportive, engaging environments where every child has meaningful access to communication.
